Automation solutions using image analysis for the manufacturing industry.
Automating visual inspections to stabilize quality and alleviate labor shortages.
In the manufacturing industry, maintaining product quality and ensuring stable supply are emphasized. Particularly in visual inspections, it is essential to accurately detect minute scratches and foreign object contamination to prevent the outflow of defective products. Inspections relying on the experience and intuition of skilled workers tend to show variability among inspectors, and with the worsening labor shortage, maintaining the inspection system has become a challenge. Our automated solution using image analysis addresses these issues by enabling inspection automation based on objective data, supporting quality improvement and productivity enhancement. 【Application Scenarios】 ■ Detection of changes in vibration patterns due to mold wear or foreign object entrapment in pressing ■ Visualization of the state of paint mist (speed and direction) in the painting booth ■ Visualization of molten metal temperature (1100°C to 1400°C) through image analysis 【Benefits of Implementation】 ■ Reduction of human errors through inspection automation ■ Stabilization of the inspection system by reducing dependence on skilled workers ■ Promotion of quality improvement based on data ■ Resolution of labor shortages and enhancement of productivity
